Great Mountain Bike Trails in Park City for Families
- Ike’s Pump Track at Matt Knoop Park & McLeod Creek Trail – Great for beginners and balance bike riders. Learn more
- Trailside Bike Park – Great for all ages: young riders will enjoy the pump tracks and Yaba Daba Do, while more experienced riders (and adults) will enjoy the jump lines, skill-building area near the top, as well as the intermediate and advanced freestyle trails. Learn more
- Woodward (outdoor) – Check out the outdoor action with pump tracks, skate parks, and lift-serviced mountain biking. Learn more
- Dirt Jump Park – Take your riding skills to new heights at Park City’s Dirt Jump Park. The park is open to riders of all ability levels, and offers a small pump track and beginner, intermediate and expert lines. Helmets and pads are required at all times. Learn more
- Rail Trail – The trail is cinder-and-dirt double-track, and as you’d guess from its history as a railroad line, the elevation change is slow and the curves are gentle. There’s a wide variety of terrain along the 30 miles, ranging from Echo Reservoir, where rough rock, juniper, and sunflowers prevail, to the lush green farmland along the Weber River, to the sage and bitterbrush hills climbing to Park City. - Round Valley – Mountain biking trail complex with over 35 named trails in the area, varying from broad cindered pathways for families to intermediate-technical singletrack. A few favorites include: Downward Dog, Matt’s Flat, Barrell Roll and Happy Gilmore. Learn more
- RST Loop at Olympic Park – Easy loop (RTS) suitable for beginners and kids, located just north of the Utah Olympic Park facilities. Learn more
- Dutch Hollow – Series of 20 miles of interconnected singletrack located just northeast of Midway. For a beginning mountain biker, the Cottontail and Sage loops are great places to start. If your child is a more advanced mountain bike rider, they’ll probably love the Barrel Trail. Learn more
